Day 3 - SEEKING THE KINGDOM OF GOD, THE TRUE CHRISTMAS GIFT

When God decided to send His only Son, He chose a humble woman. Her heart was pure, she
was obedient, and from the very beginning, she showed great courage, saying, “I am the Lord’s
servant. May everything you have said about me come true.”

Jesus was born in a manger—a humble, yet significant setting. Though He was God, He came to
Earth as a human with no honor or riches. I believe Jesus was born in a clean and pure place, far
from the sin and chaos of the crowded inn. The hay was fresh, the animals were faithful, and they
honored the King of Kings from the very first moment.

Throughout His ministry, Jesus walked the lands of Israel and its surrounding towns. He had no
horse or chariot, yet He brought healing to the sick, love to the poor, and food to the hungry. This
divine Eminence, who made the ultimate sacrifice, deserves our worship today. Through His
death, He opened the door of salvation and gave us the honor of becoming children of God.
He reminded us: “When you saw me in prison, you visited me. When I was hungry, you fed me.
When you cared for the orphan, you cared for me.” Jesus taught us more than 2,000 years ago
what truly matters in life. As Matthew wrote: “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live
righteously, and He will give you everything you need.”

How are you seeking the Kingdom of God today, in a world so full of distractions? As culture pulls
us toward self-gratification, and society claims that faith is outdated, let us remember the true gift
of Christmas: Jesus. The best gift we can offer ourselves and our loved ones is to seek the
Kingdom of God above all else.

Lord of Lords, grant me a brave and understanding heart to teach Your truth to others. Give me
discernment to choose right over wrong, humility to serve others, and wisdom to maintain a pure
heart. May I, like Mary, humbly say, “Here is the servant of the Lord; what would You have me do?”
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
