Day 15: Faith is a gift from the holy Spirit

I have been around many Christian people and it’s amazing to notice when someone is full of

joy, it’s possible to wish for peace in their life. Always has a testimony of his/her interactions with

the Lord.

Usually these people pray, believe, wait and see. asked and after received. I never have seen

insecurity or fear in their lives. It’s a beautiful experience to be around someone like that.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith 1 . What does it mean? When we accepted

Jesus as a Savior, God extended His grace over us, and we believe that. People experienced a

change in their life and started to live their first love with Jesus. It’s a precious time to keep with

us forever.

Paul left in the Bible precise instructions about the Armor of God 2 . But the Shield of Faith. It’s a

protection that we need to learn how to use, it’s so important. Our shield is resting over our belt

of the truth.

If we don’t know the truth of God, we can’t have faith. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing

through the word of Christ. 3 ”

You have trusted your best friend because she/he has shared with you stories of her/his life,

and at the same time you share yours. When you are in need, your best friend comes to you

with help, support, food, chocolates and jokes to make you laugh and change your mood.

Because you know very well she/he.

Exactly the same happens when we have our eyes fix in Jesus, in our most difficult times He

comes and brings to us His comfort, His arms of tenderness, His advice and yes many times

food, sleepy time, delicious bread 4 . I invite you to read Elijah’s story it’s amazing.

Dear church, our faith is a beautiful gift from God. In this Advent season embrace your faith, rest

in God’s arms and let Him be your guide in this path of faith!

Be a person of faith, no just a person who speaks about faith. Never you will regret it. ”Faith is

acting as if something is, even when it is not, so that it can become, simply because God said

it” 5 .

Heavenly Father, I need to act knowing that You are telling me the truth. help me live my faith

with action. Help me adapt my behavior, my decisions, and all my lifestyle according to what

1 Ephesians 2:8 2 Ephesians 6:10 3 Romans 10:17 4 1 kings 17:2-7 5 Pastor Tony Evans

You ask me to do. I don't want to ask for evidence, just the conviction that with You everything

will be alright.

Help me to have faith like Daniel, like Job, like my Jesus. I want to choose to act even if I can’t

see the results. In Jesus name. Amen.
